WA Regional Tourism Conference Held – Individuals Awarded for Excellence in Tourism

At the Perth Airport WA Regional Tourism Conference this year, individuals who had excelled in tourism for Western Australia received awards at a special dinner. The conference which ran from 3rd to 5th May 2021 was held in the city of Geraldton, while the awards provided a way to show appreciation to individuals who had made key contributions.

Amongst the winners were Clinton Walker of Ngurrangga Tours who for the third consecutive year triumphed in the Individual Excellence in Aboriginal Tourism category; additionally, he won the FACET Golden Guide Award. Adie Chapman from Oh Hey WA won the Sir David Brand Young Achiever Medal, while Karri House’s Tracey Tyler was awarded the Individual Excellence in Customer Service.
