Sri Lanka’s tourism sector has strengthened its connection with Gujarat, with Indian travel firm Red Dot Representation partnering with Walkers Tours Limited to promote travel between the Indian State and Sri Lanka. Announced in July, the collaboration is aimed at developing a greater interest in the island among Gujarat’s outbound travellers.
This partnership also brings together major players in Sri Lanka’s tourism sector, presenting a destination for leisure holidays, MICE travel, destination weddings and experiential trips, with its focus extending to its beaches, wildlife, cultural attractions and culinary experiences.
Tours in the country also offer extensive journeys across historical places in Sri Lanka, with ancient sites and historic landmarks complementing coastal and nature-based experiences.
Red Dot Presentations noted that the Gujarat market presents promising potential for Sri Lankan Tourism and is expected to support greater destination awareness and encourage more tailored travel experiences for Indian visitors.
