Whistler Pride and Ski Festival: An Event of Love and Glamour

The Whistler Pride and Ski Festival, an annual LGBTQ+ celebration in January, unfolded amidst the stunning backdrop of Whistler, featuring a week of winter sports and engaging events. Distinguished from conventional Pride festivals, this event, boasting a three-decade legacy, extends a warm welcome to all attendees.

Beyond the typical Pride festivities of parties and parades, it morphed into a dynamic skiing and snowboarding festival, incorporating a myriad of snow sports activities. Taking place between January 21st and 28th 2024, the festival was an inclusive and spirited experience. The Sea to Sky Region hosts additional yearly 2SLGBTQ+ events such as the Vancouver Pride Festival and the Chilliwack Pride Festival, typically occurring in August. Furthermore, the Britannia Mine Museum hosts Squamish Pride, adding to the beauty of LGBTQ+ celebrations in the region. Those flying in for the festival were seen taking up accommodation at hotels in Whistler, Canada the likes of Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside, from where they had easy access to the venue.
