Witness the Australian Dirt Track Championships 2016 – Cyclists Galore

The Hunter region had ample reasons to be eventful during the second week of August. The dirt track motorcyclists were in town for the Australian Senior Dirt Track Championships at the Barleigh Ranch Raceway. The championship featured motorcyclists from South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria who were geared up for the championship honours. Also known as short circuit racing, dirt track racing can claim a long history with success tales of its riders: Greg Primmer, Chris Watson and Herb Jefferson to name a few.
