World Food Expo 2023 Held in Manila – Bringing Together the Best in the F&B Industry

The largest food trade show in the Philippines, the World Food Expo (WOFEX) was successfully held again this year in the capital, Manila. The event which ran from 02nd to 05th August 2023 was hosted at two locations simultaneously, namely the SMX Convention Centre and World Trade Centre. The Philippines has a robust food and beverage industry which includes a diverse range of fast food brands from leading names in the sector such as Jollibee Foods Corporation. WOFEX 2023 gave such industry stakeholders a chance to gather under one roof and provided an ideal platform for networking and showcasing the latest trends, products, and services.

Those who attended also had the opportunity to meet industry experts and well-known suppliers as well as witness live demonstrations and new technologies. To cater to diverse interests, different halls featured special zones; these included FoodPackPro, FineFoods, SensoryEx, the Hotel Summit & Expo and FOODSERVE. Another highlight of WOFEX 2023 was the Philippine Culinary Cup, the sole culinary competition in the country certified by the World Association of Chefs Societies.
