World’s Largest Women’s Marathon Set For March 2025: Details & Theme Announced

The Nagoya Women’s Marathon is set to return on the 9th of March, 2025, reclaiming its title as the world’s largest women-only marathon with approximately 20,000 participants and over 1,000 international runners. The event will welcome participants from around the globe to run through scenic urban and cultural landmarks, past iconic sites and hotels in Nagoya Japan.

The 2025 theme, “Connections Beyond the Finish Line”, celebrates resilience and the strength of women. Additionally, organisers have promised enhancements for this year’s event, including thorough medical initiatives and infrastructure, and improved on-course entertainment.

Beyond the marathon, Nagoya will welcome additional visitors and spectators to its several hotels and budget stays in the city, which include over 300 accommodations and internationally branded properties like Travelodge Nagoya Sakae.
