An event that attracted a wide range of participants, the XTERRA Asia-Pacific Tour Finale in Langkawi featured a power packed programme that included cycling, running and swimming. The races which were held from 7th to 8th May, 2016 saw the participation of both professionals and amateurs who had the chance to earn double amount of points for their accomplishments. While there were several Langkawi resorts that visitors had the chance to stay at, the host resort for this competition was Berjaya Langkawi Resort. The main event at the XTERRA Asia-Pacific Tour Finale was the Championship Triathlon which saw participants having to tackle a course that had a 1.5 km swim, a 30 km route for cycling and a run of 11 km. Apart from this, there were also a number of special shorter trail runs covering diverse terrains that showcased the island’s stunning natural beauty as well.
