Zanzibar International Film Festival – Showcasing African works of art!

The annual Zanzibar International Film Festival will be held from 7th to 15th July 2018 in Stone Town, Zanzibar. This festival is considered as one of the largest cultural festivals in East Africa and it includes all forms of music, films and different forms of art. More priority will be given to African films including African diaspora. In addition, the theme of this year’s festival is “Speak Up and Make it Heard”. All filmmakers representing the Arabian Peninsula, Persian Gulf, South East Asia, Pakistan and Indian Ocean Islands can take part in this festival. Those who wish to participate in this festival will have a plethora of accommodation options like The Residence Zanzibar which offers many a Zanzibar luxury hotel. The filmmakers can submit works in any genre including documentaries, animations, and music videos and the best works of art will receive prizes.
