Featuring a selection of 59 globally acclaimed movies, the 12th edition of the World Film Festival took place from October 17 to 26. Those attending the festival had a selection of Koh Phangan resorts to choose from for accommodation, including Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villa Resort & Spa. Providing the audiences in Khon Kaen, Chiang Mai and Pattaya the opportunity to catch a glimpse into the cultures of several different nations, the event screened the emotional Thai documentary “Poo Somboon” as its opener. This year’s festival was held aiming to embrace the creativity, beliefs, technology and the knowledge of the digital era, which was best portrayed in movies such as “Goodbye to Language”. The selection of movies also included unique classics and sci-fi tales such as “Metropolis”.
