2023, one of Sri Lanka’s best recovery years – Tourism will support country re-building

The year 2023 is expected to finally be the big year where Sri Lanka’s tourism picks up to what it was before the pandemic hit the world. The country can safely rely on tourism to help with rebuilding the economy. The Minister of Tourism, Harin Fernando says that steps have been taken to promote Sri Lanka to Indian travellers. The Minister mentioned that Kochi, Banglore and Chennai are among the few cities the island will be promoted during his speech at the launch of SiHiTa Cultural Fest 2022.
