The Singapore Tourism Board celebrated 24 remarkable individuals and organisations at the Singapore Tourism Awards 2026, which took place at Shangri-La Singapore, with Minister Grace Fu gracing the event as the Guest of Honour. Among the honourees, seven Top Award winners were selected, along with 17 recipients chosen from a pool of 67 finalists, all highlighting excellence in service, innovation, and enterprise.
The prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award went to the Hakodate Singapore Society and the late Mr Masaru Yanagisawa, recognised for their incredible work over the past 30 years in fostering connections between Singapore and Japan. Other notable winners included the founders of Woopa Group, MICE leader Richard Ireland, and Mandai Wildlife Group, all celebrated for their commitment to a people-first workplace culture.
Melissa Ow, the chief executive of STB, commended the winners for their efforts in bringing Singapore’s vibrant tourism narrative to life. For those eager to visit these award-winning attractions, staying at a centrally located spot like V Hotel Bencoolen or a nice hotel near Bugis, Singapore, makes it super convenient to explore many of these celebrated venues on foot.
