Singapore’s Travel Boom: International Arrivals Set to Break Records in 2025
Powering ahead—Singapore leads Southeast Asia’s tourism resurgence
Singapore is on course to break its all-time international arrivals record in 2025, with nearly 16 million visitors expected—9.6% above 2019 levels—according to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). Surpassing regional neighbours like Thailand and the Philippines, the city-state is experiencing strong momentum from key source markets.
India is driving a major wave of inbound travel, with visitor numbers projected to reach 1.25 million, the highest on record. Chinese arrivals are also expected to hit nearly 2.8 million despite a slower global rebound, setting the stage for further growth into 2026.
Travel & Tourism is forecast to inject $66.1 billion into Singapore’s economy this year, supporting 570,000 jobs. By 2030, contributions are expected to climb even higher.

Amid this growth, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay remains a top choice for upscale travellers, reinforcing its position among the best 5 star hotels in Singapore, where luxury meets sustainability in the heart of the city.
