The Essential Marriage of Figaro Performed in Bangkok – A Treat for Opera Fans

Featuring the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, “The Essential Marriage of Figaro” was performed last month in the Thai capital and provided quite a treat for opera fans. The performance presented by the Bangkok Community Theatre was held on 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th March 2020; it was hosted at the British Club within easy reach of Avani Atrium Bangkok Hotel. Those who attended from such a centrally located city hotel Bangkok has to offer were given the chance to hear this famous opera sung in English.

Directed by Ian Robinson and produced by Don Harrelson, “The Essential Marriage of Figaro”included a cast of six and told the core story of Mozart’s famed opera, “The Marriage of Figaro”. Tony Newman served as the Musical Director for this production, while Simon Green was the Assistant Musical Director.
