Holiday Packages for Healthcare Workers from Cinnamon Hotels

As a sign of heartfelt appreciation, Sri Lankan hospitality brand Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts recently offered 1,000 holiday packages on a complimentary basis for local healthcare workers. This was in response to their dedication and courage as well as tireless efforts that have helped the country and people cope with the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. These full-board packages will be distributed to healthcare workers based on the nominations put forward by the Ministry of Health.

Valid from the beginning of July till 30th September 2020, the package features accommodation for two nights at one of nine hotels; encompassing some of the best places to stay in Sri Lanka, these properties can be found at destinations such as Colombo, Kandy,  Beruwala, Yala, Habarana and Trincomalee. This initiative was marked by an event at the Presidential Secretariat with a presentation of the Cinnamon Travel Pledge by Chairman of John Keells Holdings PLC, Krishan Balendra, to Sri Lankan President, Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
