A Set of Events Planned to Celebrate new Kings Birthday in Phuket – Royal Birthday Celebrations
Marking the birthday of HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn which fell on the 28th of July 2019 a series of official events were organized in Phuket with the participation of local and international communities. For the morning and evening celebrations held at the Phuket Provincial Hall thousands of visitors have been reported to have arrived all the way from various luxury hotels in Phuket. Merit making ceremonies, the ceremony of government officials, scholarship grants and wishing sessions took place in the morning while a special candlelit ceremony took place in the evening with invited guests.
There has been special security and traffic controlling plans implemented throughout the day and as per the records, Phuket has been busier than ever during this day with traffic and people from all around the world. Resorts the likes of Anantara Layan Phuket Resort were bound to be filled with stay reservations by guests who had come for this ceremony and a special security scheme had also been launched at the resorts to provide security especially for foreign delegates.
