Abu Dhabi Launch Tourism Campaign with John Cena – Various Events Also to Take Place

In October last year, Abu Dhabi Tourism launched a new video campaign starring wrestling superstar and actor, John Cena. In the video, he is seen ditching his previous travel plans while on a flight after reading about Abu Dhabi; it includes him parachuting out of a plane before landing safely on the Louvre Abu Dhabi, while viewers got to see aerial shots of some of the best local attractions and experiences.

The campaign tagline, “Time is Now”, coincided with Abu Dhabi reopening its borders in 2021 to provide quarantine-free holidays for fully vaccinated travellers and those from Green List nations. Travellers can look forward to plenty of fun activities in Abu Dhabi once more; these include everything from desert adventures to wildlife encounters while at properties like Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Sahel Villa Resort. A further draw for visitors, the emirate is also hosting various events throughout the year; highlights for next month are the Middle East Film & Comic Con (4th – 6th March), a performance by the Paolo Fresu Trio (6th March) and the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend & Awards (18th-19th March).
