Abu Dhabi Officially Named a Bike City – The World’s Hottest Cycling City

Abu Dhabi becomes the first city in the Middle East to be accoladed by the Union Cyclist International as an official bike city. With simmering hot temperatures that pervade year-round, the city will also undoubtedly be the hottest cycling city in the world.  In the past couple of years, the city witnessed the setting up of new bike paths, the introduction of International races and recognition for local talent. In fact, UAE’s capital city was slowly but steadily transforming itself into the bike city it now is.

Cyclists frequently riding in the city, concedes that cycling in Abu Dhabi can be one of the most exhilarating yet challenging sports one can try.
