Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority woos travellers from Oman

The Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi), as part of its six-city Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) tour, arrived in Muscat, where it hosted a special media conference to raise the awareness of the recently launched Abu Dhabi Summer Season 2015. The first four months of 2015 saw Oman becoming Abu Dhabi’s second largest GCC source market with 21,342 visitors marking a 12 per cent growth compared with last year. Saudi Arabia led the market share with 46,576 visitors, which was a solid 46 per cent growth over the same period. Among the popular luxury hotels that took part in contributing towards the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority’s effort to promote tourism was Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara, one of the leading 5 star hotels Abu Dhabi has to offer the visitors from coming in from overseas.
