Africa Hospitality Investment Forum 2024 Held in Windhoek: Shaping the Future of Travel

The Africa Hospitality Investment Forum 2024 was held in Windhoek, Namibia from June 25th to 27th and served as an important gathering for various hospitality stakeholders looking to further support tourism projects, hotel development and infrastructure across Africa.

The event had over 500 attendees including international delegates from over 40 countries, investors, and leading industry speakers. It also featured participation from various travel and tourism professionals including Destination Management Companies, travel industry leaders, travel consultants, MICE leaders, travel technology companies and more. The forum was specifically designed to foster business-critical networking, discussions filled with expert insights and a substantial inflow of capital into Africa’s hospitality sector.

As a whole, the forum was successful in bringing to light several digital innovations that would enhance the efficiency of business and event travel which in turn would benefit travel professionals and corporate clients, thus paving the way for more innovative travel solutions for the future.

Even with the presence of key Windhoek hotel suites in Namibia like the luxurious Avani Windhoek Hotel and Casino, much effort is being made to further develop the hospitality sector in other areas of Africa. Amidst such efforts, the Africa Hospitality Investment Forum serves as a key platform through which further steps can be taken towards the cause.
