AHEAD Middle East and Africa Announces 2017 Winners of Hotel Design Awards – Recognising the Top Performers of Middle-Eastern Hospitality

AHEAD is a celebration of hospitality and design, and is one of the most prestigious forms of recognition one can achieve in the field. The various brands and properties that received awards were reviewed based on three particular categories, which are creativity, innovation, and excellence, along with various specific sub-categories. Guest-experience, as well as commercial viability, are also important points that were considered.

There are many awards given out to hotels and resorts in the United Arab Emirates and other GCC countries. One winner was Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, which was noted for its luxury villas in Oman that are located at a higher altitude than any other Middle-Eastern five-star hotel or resort. It was the winner in the ‘Spa and Wellness’ category.

The regional winners will compete head-to-head in the Global Biennale which will take place in 2019.
