AirAsia inaugurates Penang to Hong Kong service – Bridging the gap between metropolitan hubs

AirAsia has taken a step towards Southeast Asian connectivity – by connecting Hong Kong and Penang with newly resumed flights between the two Asian cities. Inaugurating the occasion this past month of August, officials holding positions of various import such as the Deputy Minister of Tourism for Malaysia and the CEO of Penang Global Tourism graced the event.

The decision is expected to boost tourism between the two countries, allowing for more seamless travel and various business connections to blossom – thereby possibly having far-reaching effects such as occupation rates for hotels and even a studio apartment in Penang such as the renowned Citadines Prai Penang to increase, making it relatively easy for the various needs of visitors to the city, whether they travel for business or leisure.
