Anantara Dhigu Recognized as Maldives’ Leading Water Villa Resort at WTA

In recognition for its distinctive accommodation and resort features, Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa Maldives was awarded the prestigious title of “Leading Water Villa Resort” in the Maldives at the World Travel Awards 2015. This Maldives resort which has overwater suites also offers its guests access to a luxurious spa, a variety of dining venues and a wide range of water sports and activities. This was one of three awards garnered by Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas at the 22nd edition of the World Travel Awards in June; at the Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony, Anantara walked away with the top awards for Maldives’ Leading Spa Resort Brand as well as the Leading Villa Resort in the Maldives for Anantara Kihavah Villas. Inaugurated in 1993, the World Travel Awards hold a special ceremony each year where awards are handed to key properties and brands in particular regions under a wide range of categories.
