A special culinary offering that gave guests a chance to savour the unique flavours and aromas of traditional Indian dishes, Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara recently hosted the Qureshi brothers, Mohammed Ashfaque Qureshi and Mohammed Irfan Qureshi who created a special culinary experience for guests. Held in October, this special dining ‘event’ unfolded at the resort’s Q Lounge and Restaurant, one of the leading Doha restaurants in the region, where specially crafted dishes which included modern interpretations of what is known as ‘Heritage Cuisine’ were served. The award winning Master Chef duo belong to the well known ‘Qureshi’ family who are known for specialising in dishes that can be traced back to the Mughal Empire. Mentored under their father, Imtiaz Qureshi who is a legend in his own right when it comes to Indian cuisine, the Qureshi brothers have garnered quite a reputation the world over and provided guests a chance to sample some of their award-winning culinary creations.
