Anantara Resorts will help Sri Lanka Transform Their Image – Importing International Standards

General Manager of Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Sri Lanka, Tamir Kobrin, recently during talks in India, discussed the transforming effect the Minor Hotel Group has been bringing to Sri Lanka’s high-end resort scene, with it’s latest addition to the mix, Anantara Kalutara Resort.

Offering luxury resorts on par with international standards, Tamir states that Anantara’s culinary and service excellence remedies the deficiencies found in the Sri Lankan resorts landscape.

The first Anantara property in Sri Lanka was opened in December 2015 in Tangalle and now the latest resort has been opened in Kalutara. Being a beachside town closer to the commercial capital of Colombo, travellers will have many things to do in Kalutara.

However, the Minor Hotel Group actually entered the Sri Lankan market a few years ago through their Avani chain, with a commitment now of over a 100million USD
