Australia’s Herald Sun, recently came up with its list of uber-luxury Bali resorts in the island’s Bukit Peninsula and mentioned Anantara Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa as one of its top selections. An area that can be found in Bali’s southern end, the Bukit Peninsula is known for its idyllic beaches, picturesque golf courses and eclectic dining scene, not to mention luxurious getaways such as this Anantara property which is ideally located on a cliff, providing dramatic vistas of the Indian Ocean. Featuring ocean-view suites, stylish pool villas and plush penthouses, the resort also offers easy access to the famed Impossible Beach; accessible via a five-storey elevator, this beach is also popular with surfers who will find some of Bali’s best surfing waves here. Apart from being an ideal place to view sunsets, other highlights of the resort according to the Herald Sun included its barbecued seafood spreads served at the onsite restaurants.
