The recently held Anantara’s Annual King’s Cup was able to raise millions for the welfare of Thailand’s elephants. The event coincided with Thailand’s National Elephant Day. Miss Thailand graced the occasion as part of a competing team while ten teams that included players from around the world with the New Zealand All Blacks rugby players and professional polo players competed in the event that brought glamour and prestige to the event on and off the field.
The money raised from this year’s tournament will be donated to a wide range of elephant aiding projects. With plenty of spectacular five star luxury resorts spread across Thailand and Bangkok such as Anantara Hotels Resorts & Spas, crowds visiting the country to witness the annual event found plenty of accommodation options during their stay.
