One of the many attractions in Hua Hin, Thailand happens to be the annual celebrations of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s birthday. The Queen’s Cup Hua Hin Triathlon took place this year for the eight consecutive time from 13-14 August, 2016.
The two-day event consists of various races, including a sprint triathlon of 750m swimming, 20km of cycling and a 5km running event on the first day. The second day is when the actual Queen’s Cup Olympic distance triathlon takes place, comprising of a 1.5km swim, 40km of cycling and 10km of running.
