Australia is mulling over permitting international travel to select countries for those looking to head overseas for holidays; this is according to an online article published on news.com.au this October. The article went on to highlight that the country was in talks with South Pacific nations as well as Singapore, Japan and South Korea on the possibilities of restarting holiday travel. This will come as good news for Australian tourists looking to go to international destinations which they have not been able to do because of border restrictions due to COVID-19 measures.
Till plans are finalised and measures put in place, locals are travelling within the country on holidays. Several states have opened their borders including Queensland; on 1st December 2020, it opened to Victoria and all of New South Wales. Those heading here have various accommodation options to choose from be it hotels Gladstone QLD has to offer such as Oaks Gladstone Grand Hotel or Brisbane serviced apartments in the CBD.
