Australia to welcome foreign tourists in 2022 – Let the tourism industry boom!

Australia is surely among the top countries in the world to introduce and maintain some of the toughest and longest travel restrictions due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The Prime Minister of the country stated recently that the main focus of the government will be to hit the target of covering 80% of the local vaccination rate, and only then would they focus upon reopening the boundaries to international travelers.

Although major businesses which dealt in the travel and tourism sector in the biggest cities including Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra had to shut down during the pandemic; hotels in Melbourne, Australia owned by popular hotel chains such as Pan Pacific managed the situation with domestic guest bookings. All these properties and travel agents are with a positive hope that 2022 will be a much better year for all of them, especially when the government reopens the country for international guests.
