The Queensland Government has partnered with Australia Zoo to launch an eight million dollars camping experience in the wild called “Camp Croc Hunter.” It is expected to attract over 39,000 travellers to the Sunshine Coast after it opens this year. Those who are based in Moranbah service apartments the likes of Oaks Moranbah Suites will be able to make a trip to this amazing destination and spend several days at the range of accommodation options available. With 108 sites offering spaces for tents, caravans, eco-cabins, and glamping-style tents, one will have a memorable experience at “Camp Croc Hunter” with their loved ones.

The camping site will have access to a café, pool area, entertainment, covered cooking areas, and a myriad of other facilities. Dr. Terri Irwin of Australia Zoo welcomed the grant from Queensland Government stating that the camping facility will be ready to be opened in line with the Zoo’s 50th anniversary.
