CNN Travel recently unveiled “16 of Asia’s Most Exciting New Hotels” amongst which it included the Luang Prabang property of Avani Hotels & Resorts. According to the online article, some of the key highlights of this hotel was the fact that it provided guests with an ideal base in the heart of Luang Prabang beside the Mekong River and near the Royal Palace. Also of note was its colonial French heritage evident in the distinctive architecture.
