With years of experience when it comes to hydroponic farming, Avani Pattaya Resort has shared its vast knowledge on the subject to help people adopt DIY (do-it-yourself) farming at home; this is particularly useful during this time when lockdown restrictions have kept everyone indoors while the supply of fresh produce has reduced. This Pattaya beach resort has its own hydroponic green farm which features more than 22,000 plants along with a free-range chicken coop; the farm’s produce is not only used to supply the restaurants at the hotel but the local community too.
According to a recent press release, through a process of trial and error, the resort has found that microgreens, Swiss chard and Chinese kale are amongst the plants that grow best in a hydroponic system. To help those interested in starting hydroponic farming at home, the resort has offered start-up and growing tips, while it has released a video too.
