An event that attracted car enthusiasts from around Ireland and the UK, the AXA National Classic Car Show took place recently in the Irish capital of Dublin. Held from 5th to 6th March 2016, this popular car show was organised by the Royal Irish Automobile Club and was hosted at the RDS (Royal Dublin Society) centre’s Simmonscourt Pavilion. Visitors had the unique opportunity to see some of the country’s finest classic automobiles with more than 250 vehicles including motorbikes being showcased here. Many of the vehicles at the AXA National Classic Car Show were from private collectors and classic car clubs. Amongst the highlights of the event was the showcasing of the Panhard CD for the first time in the UK, a 250 GT Berlinetta SWB, a Bugatti Brescia and a Ford Model T Car. Those planning to head to Dublin and catch such events can do so as part of a Europe package tour offered by such travel specialists as Freedom Holidays.
