Bali Arts Festival 2015

Bali is an island that dazzles with culture, but there is a time when it dazzles even more and that is the time of the vibrant and the colorful Bali Arts Festival! The festival is a collection of performances and exhibitions of Balinese culture that is held this year from the 13th of June to the 11th of July. For those searching for a Nusa Dua Convention Center as a venue for exhibitions and other events, the Bali International Convention Centre, located in the south of the island is an ideal choice as it offers premier spaces and facilities.

The Bali Arts Festival was inaugurated in 1978 with the aim that “Tourism should be for Bali instead of Bali for tourism.” Thirty Seven years later it has become Bali’s biggest cultural extravaganza with every region of the island putting their best arts and crafts on display. On the starting day there is a grand parade that starts at the Bajra Sandhi Puputan field in Renon and ends at the Denpasar Art Centre. Then it is followed by many live performances, cultural demonstrations and contests in the month-long festivities.
