Banana Island Resort Doha to Mark Anantara Milestone – Celebrating 15 Years

As part of the 15th anniversary milestone of Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, the brand’s Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara held a number of celebratory events at the property. Anantara’s first island resort to be located in the Middle East, the property featured special activities and programmes over a 15 day period from 4th to 19th March, to coincide with the 15 year anniversary. Among the Doha hotel deals and exclusive offers the resort provided guests during this period included giving 15% discounts on accommodation, the spa centre and a special brunch. Additionally the onsite Anantara Spa and Balance Wellness Centre had 15 various activities for the duration of 15 days, while on 15th March, the resort celebrated Earth Hour by switching off lights and hosting a beachside BBQ dinner. First opened in 2001 in Hua Hin, Anantara has come a long way during its 15 years and has 35 luxury resorts and hotels in key global destinations.
