Setting a unique Guinness Record, 1,792 school children in Bangkok dressed up as Santa’s little helpers and set the record for the biggest assembly of Christmas elves. Forming the word “Siam”, the children who were between the ages of 9 and 15 made this record breaking attempt at the well known shopping mall, Siam Paragon. Travellers in search of Bangkok resorts from which to visit this site can consider staying at Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa.
This record gathering of Christmas elves saw the children dressed in red as they wore hats of green & white and pointy elf years. In order to qualify for the record they had to stand for a total of 5 minutes which they did, though a few children had to be disqualified since they did not adorn the elf ears! The previous Guinness Record for such an elfish gathering was 1,110, set in Wetherby, Britain in 2013.
