Bangkok Gems & Jewellery Fair Comes to a Close – Another Successful Event

Attracting more than 900 exhibitors, the Bangkok Gems & Jewellery Fair was successfully held this month. Featuring diamonds, gems, precious metal, pearls and jewellery from Thailand and other parts of the world, the event is held twice a year; the second edition in 2019 took place at the IMPACT Challenger venue from 10th to 14th September.

The theme of the Bangkok Gems & Jewellery Fair was “Thailand’s Magic Hands: The Spirit of Jewellery Making”; it put the spotlight on modern and traditional craftsmanship in regards to gem and jewellery products in Thailand. In fact, different parts of the country specialise in different aspects. For example, Chanthaburi is famed for its gem market which can be visited by those staying at a hotel in Chanthaburi including properties like Chatrium Golf Resort Soi Dao Chanthaburi. On the other hand, Kanchanaburi is known for blue sapphires and Yaowarat (Chinatown) for gold jewellery. The fair gave visitors a chance to see such precious items from around the country, all under one roof.
