Bangkok saw a decline in new COVID -19 cases during the past couple of weeks and, this has made the health officials consider revising some of the safety regulations implemented. There was a restriction on the bars and restaurants, and proposals have been made to implement relaxing measures with regards to these restrictions.

There was also a ban on the athletic stadiums and cockfighting arenas, and they hope relaxing measures will also be implemented on these. Thailand also expects to introduce creative quarantine plans to attract more travellers into the country. According to the experts, more of these measures are needed to strengthen the tourism industry in Thailand.
