Bangkok tightens restrictions to fight COVID-19 – Securing safety in the capital city

In July 2021, the capital city of Thailand- Bangkok was badly hit by the COVID 19 pandemic and the officials decided to tighten the restrictions in the city. All cinemas, amusement parks, fitness centers, museums, and swimming pools were immediately closed down for two weeks until further notice. Every Apart’hotel in Bangkok the likes of Citadines Sukhumvit 23 Bangkok operated and were allowed to continue functioning, along with other venues such as barbershops and beauty parlors too who continued their operations with a limited number of customers.

The Civil Aviation Authority also decided to halt all domestic flight operations until further notice. However, other areas such as Phuket and Samui have not been affected as yet, and these areas will continue accepting vaccinated foreign travellers as per the original plan. The officials will be constantly monitoring the progress of their programs and make the necessary amendments when needed.
