Established in 2008 with the objective of creating a progressive democratic architecture within the Asia-Pacific region, the 11th Bali democracy forum took place on the 6th and 7th on December. This year’s theme of the event was “Democracy for Prosperity”. The main objective of this year’s forum was providing a platform to people to share experiences among the representatives of the state and stakeholders who were invited to the event to understand the hardships and challenges that lie in delivering democracy with prosperity. The many delegated and guests who arrived at the event were stationed at neighbouring Seminyak resorts the likes of Alila Seminyak and it also had students from universities and schools as the audience. The event was inaugurated by Retno LP Marsudi who is the minister of foreign affairs.
