The Lion City is doubly extravagant during the Christmas season and all the more reason for booking that much anticipated holiday; attractions are doubled and experiences are fabulous. The popular shopping belt on Orchard Road was lit up with high festivity during the Christmas days raising the spirits of Christmassy. Those who were residing at some of the hotels in Downtown Singapore the likes of Grand Park City Hall were able to soak up the Christmas vibes with shimmering fireworks whizzing, dancing and bursting above. Moreover, all sorts of delicious festive goodies were put on menus promising a very hearty meal. Hence, tourists, as well as locals, had the opportunity to savour roast turkey and potatoes, gingerbread cakes and cookies and lovely little Yule log cakes, amongst many other delicious dishes that spell Christmas in a very rich manner.
