Beijing 2022 inspires enthusiasm for winter sports in China – winter sports for the summer

The Olympic Winter Sports Games took place in Beijing in 2022 and were a massive success. Seeing the athletes twirl on the ice rink on skates and well-armed sportsmen pacing up across the ice with their hockey sticks seem to have truly inspired the locals who witnessed the action first-hand. Hotels in Beijing China, the likes of Pan Pacific Beijing were filled with contestants from various countries taking part in various ice events.

Harbin is a city in China known for its many air dome ice rinks which are now becoming increasingly popular among locals. The coach of Ming Jiang Ice Sports Centre informs that after the winter sports games in Beijing, the number of students at the arena has increased to more than 1000. Not just the ice rinks, but indoor skiing has also been a popular activity among local tourists in China this year.
