Bangkok, a magical city and a must-visit to most has been named the ‘Best City’ at the DestinAsian magazine’s Readers’ Choice Awards 2022. The awards are presented to mark the excellence of the Asia-Pacific luxury travel destinations, airlines, hotels and resorts, and cruises and the poll was conducted from September to December 2021. Bangkok received the first place among other popular travel destinations, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Seoul in the first 5 places. Other famous Thai destinations Phuket and Ko Samui received 3rd and 4th places in the ‘Best Island’ category.
Many of the Sukhumvit hotels in Bangkok contribute a great deal to tourism in Thailand, while Anantara Siam Bangkok hotel is one of the top choices amongst tourists. Being titled the ‘Best City’ will attract more travel enthusiasts to Bangkok in the upcoming days.
