The awards which were handed to 8 different hotels and resorts include Cinnamon Wild Yala which is one of the leading Yala hotels in the island and which garnered a score of 8.8 which was the highest among the 8 properties.
Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts also stood out for being the hotel chain which garnered the most awards with accolades also going to its city properties, namely Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, Cinnamon Grand Colombo and the recently opened Cinnamon red which features the unique concept known as lean luxury. Given out by Booking.com, these Awards of Excellence are decided after calculating guest review scores with properties having to earn an 8 or higher score based on at least 10 reviews.
