Elephant safaris in and around popular tourist destinations in Sri Lanka are a trend these days. Habarana and Sigiriya being areas with a variety of wildlife and attractions in the country, also have a large population of elephants. Some of these gentle giants are domesticated and are popular for being incorporated into safari experiences. You can go on an elephant safari by contacting a local tour organiser; alternatively, you can reach out to the front desk if you have planned a stay at a Sigiriya hotel including the likes of Habarana Village by Cinnamon or other such properties in the region. With a wealth of breathtaking sceneries and things to see, embarking on an elephant safari will certainly be an experience worth your while during your trip to Sri Lanka.
