Broome in Western Australia is seeing an increase in popularity as domestic tourists flock to this charming coastal town. This was highlighted in an online article published this September by The Australian newspaper. One of the reasons cited for this boost in numbers was that many locals have had to cancel their overseas holiday plans due to travel restrictions. However, in Broome, hotel deals, as well as the diverse accommodation options, are tempting travellers to come discover the town’s many allures; this includes picturesque Cable Beach within easy reach of Oaks Broome Hotel and similarly centrally located properties.
While Western Australia has a hard border closure in effect, Aussies from other states are already planning holidays to the town next year. As highlighted in the article, according to research by Skyscanner, Broome has become the prime domestic holiday destination in the country leading flight bookings from January to December 2021.
