BUILDEX Maldives 2019 Held in Malé – Meeting a Growing Need

Catering to the needs of burgeoning local construction projects, the BUILDEX Maldives 2019 was held last month. The event ran from 22nd to 24th August and was hosted at Dharubaruge in the capital Malé. The country has seen a growing demand for construction over a long period of time; this not only includes luxury Maldives hotels and resorts such as the properties of Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, but construction in Malé and Hulumale as well.

BUILDEX Maldives 2019 provided a valuable platform for those in the industry to meet with potential clients be it professional builders, resort owners, interior designers, hotel project consultants or business development managers. Organised by the Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MNACI) and Maldives Exhibition & Conference Services Pvt. Ltd. (MECS), the event covered areas such as construction machinery, smart lighting, architecture, engineering and sustainable building materials.
