China Guangxi Product Exhibition kicks off in Colombo – Strengthening integration with China

The China Guangxi product exhibition was held from 18th to 20th of May 2018 at the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre. This exhibition was a unique platform to expand trade and economic ties between the two countries. A range of innovative products ranging from machinery, home textile, building materials, food and household handicrafts were showcased in the three-day exhibition. Being a significant province in China, Guangxi plays a vital role in the ‘One Belt One Road Initiative’. Therefore, strengthening a rapport with Guangxi is a huge step in right direction to uplift the economic growth of Sri Lanka. There were 70 booths representing 120 exhibitors from China. Tourists who participated in the China Guangxi Product Exhibition 2018 had the chance to meet many Sri Lanka travel agency representatives including the likes of Aitken Spence Travels. Such agencies offer diverse and attractive tour packages to travel around Sri Lanka.
