For an even greater global connectivity

Chinese airlines are stepping up their game with expanded international flight routes to cater to the rising demand driven by “China Travel” fever. On April 28, China Eastern Airlines will debut a direct service from Shanghai to Abu Dhabi, marking a historic milestone as the first Chinese carrier on this route. The airline also plans a strategic partnership with Etihad Airways.

Sichuan Airlines is following suit, launching a direct route from Chengdu to Penang, Malaysia, starting April 30, offering five weekly flights. The carrier also began a charter service to Pokhara, Nepal, in March.

These increases in international flights come at a time when more foreign visitors are flying into China, helped by the 240-hour visa-free transit policy. Meanwhile, Xi’an apartments and social living spaces like lyf Dayanta Xi’an are ready to offer accommodation for the growing influx of international travellers.
