April is the popular season for travel to Nuwara Eliya and in keeping with the demand of locals and foreign travellers, Cinnamon Air is offering daily scheduled Sri Lankan domestic flights to this mountainous getaway. These seasonal flights commenced on April 10th and are set to run up to April 20th linking the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), the water-aerodrome at Waters Edge, Kotte and the Lake Gregory water-aerodrome in Nuwara Eliya.
Utilising amphibian aircrafts that can both take-off and land on water, Cinnamon Air provides a time-saving way in which to visit Nuwara Eliya along with spectacular aerial views that can be enjoyed on the journey. This considerable saving of time will give travellers more opportunities to enjoy all that Nuwara Eliya has to offer during the season including motor racing events, the Governor’s Cup horse races, a golf tournament and the local flower show.
